Community guidelines and reporting — TripTogether

TripTogether is a community of people who love to travel. These rules apply to posts, photos, comments, profiles and content in shared trips.

What you may not post

• Illegal content, or content that encourages illegal activity.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, humiliation or exposing other people's personal information.
• Incitement, racism, or attacks based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
• Nudity, sexually explicit content, and any sexual content involving minors (which will be reported to the authorities).
• Graphic violence, self-harm or animal abuse.
• Impersonation, dangerous false information, scams, spam or hidden advertising.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or privacy.
• Intimate images of people, or photos of other people's children, without consent.

Reporting

Every post, comment and profile has a "Report" menu. You can also report by email at [to be completed before publishing]. We review every report and act promptly. In serious cases we remove the content within 24 hours of receiving the report, at the latest.

Blocking and hiding

You can block a user: they won't see your content or be able to comment on it, and you won't see theirs. You can also hide a post from your feed.

What we do

Depending on the severity of the violation: removing content, a warning, limiting posting, suspension or blocking. We will tell the poster about the decision and allow an appeal by email, unless notice could harm an investigation or someone's safety.

Before your first post you will be asked to accept these guidelines.
